Shannon Van Staden
Where Alchemy Crystal Sound Healing and Music Theory Meet
The alchemy crystal sound healing journey is perfectly reflected in the mirror of musical intervals. Here the space and resonance created by two crystal bowls playing together is an interval that can reveal a powerful healing modality. Knowing these intervals can guide us through myriad life experiences. They can shine in the mirror of our pristine mind and lead us through the processes of personal healing and transformation.
Shannon van Staden will take you on an encapsulated journey through the 8 Intervals of Life. The journey is based on the intersection of music theory, harmony and advanced spiritual views rooted in Buddhist teachings. The Intervals take us on a powerful journey alternating between facing our life challenges and resting in our innate goodness. Join Shannon to ignite a spark which can potentially blaze and illuminate the sound healing path.
Shannon van Staden is an accredited Crystal Tones® Alchemy Crystal Bowl Master Sound Healer, a Yoga Alliance teacher specialising in yin yoga, as well as a meditation teacher. Shannon aspires to share holistic wellbeing to help you live your most meaningful life. She believes the deep healing of harmonic sound is ideal for the times we are living in. She has established the first Crystal Tones sound temple in the heart of Europe, Brussels. Shannon has developed with Lama Brian Hilliard, The Power of Sound Healing trainings, gives workshops, private and group sessions and guides you to find your crystal healing bowls in the Sound Temple.

Ashana
Ashana will be sharing how she is igniting the frequencies of the divine feminine through sound. The inspiration behind the presentation is to weave in alchemies, chakras and mantras to inspire bowl players and sound healers to intentionally activate the frequencies and awareness of the feminine in their work and environment and to offer them a full sensory experience of what that is like, along with guidance on how to bring that into their work.
Ashana is one of the premiere healing music artists and New Age vocalists of our time, a best-selling author and recognized pioneer of sound healing with crystal singing bowls. With soaring, angelic vocals and the celestial sound of alchemy crystal singing bowls, Ashana’s music is an exquisitely crafted sonic tapestry hailed by listeners as “breathtaking” and “a gift from heaven,” streaming to millions worldwide. Her online global meditations have touched the lives of tens of thousands in over 50 countries. As a renowned master crystal bowl artist, teacher, and sound healer, Ashana is an expert in the field of sound healing with crystal bowls, training students from all over the world in the art of integrating crystalline sound with therapeutic and artistic healing modalities in her Crystal Bowl Mastery™ program. Ashana’s latest offering, “Celestial Alignment for Healing,” a multimedia online transformational sound healing program, releases in 2024, with participants celebrating the experience as “life-changing” and a “vital part of their healing.” Ashana lives in Sedona, Arizona with her husband, Native Hawaiian Healer, James Kawainui.

Genevra Jolie
Genevra will set the tone of the Soul and, with the clear and immediate amplification of crystal sound and spoken word, offer a deep group healing session with the Alchemies. This will be an invitation to experience the Alchemy within, reconnect to your pure essence, feel the inner song of your heavenly origins, realign to harmony and settlement, let go into a deeper surrender, activate heart healing, and realign with Divine
Genevra Jolie has been working with vessels as conduits for energy since 1990. Her life’s work has explored philosophy, expression, and healing through form, from clay to crystal. She has pioneered the Alchemy Crystal Tones® Singing Bowls in the UK since 2011 and is the founder and creator of Crystal Sonic Therapy and the Alchemies® Studio. With a rolling collection of 250 beautiful bowls, Genevra now curates one of the largest temples in Europe. The Sapphire Workshop Presenters
Meet our six workshop presenters. You can choose four of these workshops.

Siobhan Swider
There is a chemistry and sacred geometry of crystal structure, revealing how the minerals contained in the stones affect our physiology by supporting our essence and energy. We will explore the relationship between the vibration and frequency of the alchemy bowls and how this amplifies the properties of crystals that we hold in ours hands, place on our bodies and feel within our innate crystalline structure.
Siobhan uses and explores sound in a therapeutic approach with the harp, Tibetan and crystal bowls, voice and gongs. She collaborates with other sound therapists and musicians giving sound baths which provide a deep sense of relaxation, creating balance throughout mind and body. Siobhan also offers private sessions for one to sound-bathe in a world of blissful vibrations.
Siobhan has trained with: Ashana – Crystal Bowl Mastery, Yantara Jiro – Alchemy Crystal Bowl Practitioner and Peter Hess – Sound Massage Therapist.
As a harpist, Siobhan has performed at various prestigious venues around London such as Buckingham Palace, Kensington Palace, Somerset House, Royal Academy of Arts, House of Parliament and Westminster Abbey to name but a few. Siobhan has also performed as a soloist for Nelson Mandela, HRH Prince Charles, HRH The Queen and The Princess of Thailand. She has worked with numerous orchestras such as The City of Moscow Ballet, London Sinfonia and The Amadeus Orchestra.

Kim Zacaruk
Why would I want to collaborate when I could do this by myself? Why not stay solo? What’s to be gained? Or lost? What to do if it doesn’t work out? Is Collaboration for me? How to get started. In this workshop you will understand if collaboration is something that you would like to start doing, to give you the tools you need to hone your skills and to feel confident moving forward.
Kim comes to crystal sound therapy from a desire to uplift and transform community in positive ways. With a strong background in collaboration as a Human Resource Executive, Kim’s experience has included leadership, mediation, negotiation, learning and development. Philosophically Kim is passionate about working with others and creating connectedness between people. She brings her experience and knowledge on how to successfully collaborate with yogi’s and yogini’s, labyrinth experts, land and forest bathers, and personal development experts with crystal singing bowls. In the workshop Kim will guide us on navigating the art of collaboration with the aim of showing us ways to move forward together if this direction feels right for you.

Katy Shay
In my session I will present an overview of my support for women during their maternity journey, incorporating crystal singing bowls. Katy is a highly skilled and qualified practitioner with a passion for natural health choices and holistic well being. Her initial academic journey was in tropical medicine, where she excelled to PHD level. From there she followed her guided path into natural health options. Kathleen Anne Johnson
Let’s get down to the atoms and molecules of how crystal singing bowl sound affects the cells, tissues and systems in the body! How do certain crystal singing bowl alchemies impact specific organs and systems? What emotions and attitudes are stored in certain organs and tissues of the body? And how do we direct the amazing crystal singing bowl sound into those specific areas of the body to open communication and healing?
As a teacher of sound and energy and medical intuitive, Kathleen Anne developed her ability to sense the frequencies and interplay of healing sound/vibration within the body and human energy field. This healing gift moves through you on multi-dimensional levels, including physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
Kathleen founded the “Crystal Song Academy of Sound Healing Medicine” and has found her greatest joy in teaching health care professionals and lay persons the science and art of sound healing through her program, Crystal Song Soul Medicine. She recently published her Crystal Song Soul Medicine card deck, with inspiring messages from 44 gemstone crystal singing bowls. Kathleen has served on the American Holistic Nurses Association Education Committee, and teaches music/sound therapy and guided imagery in their IHAP program. Kathleen also created and co-taught with Ashana the course “Sounding Into the Body” for Crystal Bowl Mastery students.

Jane Elworthy
Understand and experience yourself as a divine rhythmic being, learning how certain rhythmic sound practices balance the left and right hemispheres of the brain and recalibrate the body and energy field in preparation for playing the crystal bowls (or any instrument)
Participants will know themselves as part of the ‘divine pulse’, and have a joyful, inspiring experience while learning hands on practices in the Rhythmbody technique, which I’ve developed over 30 years. My focus will be tailored to these practices as preparation for playing the crystal bowls
Jane is a lightworker, sound healer, pilgrimage leader, teacher and presenter who works through the mediums of rhythm, sound and story, offering inspirational talks and presentations to help us remember our true purpose on Earth.
After a profound awakening experience in her 20s, Jane was called strongly to the ancient women’s sacred instrument the Frame Drum, and has been a master drum maker, frame drummer and Rhythm-body teacher for over 30 years.
Through her crystal bowl playing and what many say is a remarkable voice, Jane channels loving languages of light from the Divine realms, and inspires and enlivens many through her MerKaBa to MerKaNa Lightbody Activations. Her work takes her to many parts of the globe, including the Venus Landscape Temple area in southern France where she co-facilitates Awakening the Divine Heart, a retreat to connect with the sacred energies of the Magdalene.

The time seemed “right” as the world is moving into a new paradigm. More and more people are seeking connection to their own inner wisdom, to a stronger sense of community, to mindfulness and the awareness of the sacred nature of everything in our world. Testimonials
"I find the Global Crystal Bowl Symposium a wonderfully immersive and inspiring experience. Nourishment for my Soul! The Symposium is not only for Crystal Sound Therapists like myself but also for anyone curious to experience and learn more about the healing power and beauty of Crystal sound therapy and to meet others with a similar love of frequencies, resonance and all things HEALING. Hello Soul Family!
It is a time when sound practitioners, whether they be internationally renowned, professional or just starting out, can gather in community for a few precious days from all around the globe to share their experiences, discoveries, insights, research, creativity and personal approaches during their unique presentations. There are gorgeous Crystal Bowls available for purchase and enticing products from the healing community such as CDs, healing instruments and crystals.
The Symposium is one of my most favourite places to be! Deep Thanks to Susie Nelson Smith for conceiving of and creating these fabulous international gatherings and with her team, for organising truly magical and inspiring events and making them a reality. I haven’t missed one yet!"

"I attended the first World Sound Symposium.
It was wonderful being among fellow Crystal Sound Therapists and musicians. As a Practitioner, it can sometimes be lonely if you don’t live near another. To be the one who is always giving.
To be among so many, to share our experiences, to share our love of our passion was beautiful and empowering. To receive the frequencies was a welcome change. Being in the bush of the Blue Mountains of Sydney with our bowls was amazing, although a bit chilly.
My next adventure will be in a warmer environment.
I am so looking forward to reconnecting with friends and making new ones.
I hope you will be one of them.
See you in Cambodia!."
