Phokeethra Country Club proudly holds the distinction of being Cambodia’s first championship-standard golf course, opening in 2007 under the management of Sofitel Angkor Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort. Located just west of Siem Reap, it enjoys a prime position between Siem Reap International Airport and the city center, with the iconic Angkor Wat close by.

Designed by Major General Weerayudth Phetbuasak of Weeyos Golf Design, this 18-hole, par-72 course stretches 7,145–7,363 yards (up to 7,816 yards depending on tees). Its layout combines wide fairways, expansive greens, shimmering lagoons, and strategic bunkers, delivering both scenic beauty and a rewarding challenge.

One of its most distinctive features is the restored 11th-century Roluh Bridge, situated between the 9th green and 10th tee, and proudly represented in the club’s logo—a reminder of the region’s rich history. The signature finishing hole, the 18th, presents a dramatic test with a double water carry to an island green, ensuring a thrilling conclusion to any round.
